It's sooooo delicious!

- 2 cups strawberries
- 1 cup sliced oranges

Dough
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2teaspoon salt

Directions:
Blend flour, salt, eggs, milk and melted butter in a blender til smooth. Rest for 30 minutes. Then bake 4 crepes in a buttered pan. Keep warm in the oven.
Meanwhile prepare the filling. Caramelize the powdered sugar in a pot til light brown. Pour in the orange juice, vanilla, ginger, cinnamon and orange zest and keep simmering about 10 minutes. Hi my friends,

one of the best things of spring are also the Strawberries in the market - I love them over everything! O.k. maybe not everything - hubby is sweeter as they are....*smile*...

I'm going into the cooking business now and I'm posting now a delicious recipe for you -  you should give it a try and you'll not regret, I promise :)

Thanks for all the kind comments yesterday.
See you again, tomorrow or the next day. I have some projects going on, but I hope I can make time to post something.

See you!
Susanne

It's Springtime in Arkansas!

I hope you'll enjoy too the nature and the pretty green and yellow trees - it's spring time in the valley!

Look at these colors!

...or these pastels...isn't it just beautiful?

I couldn't get enough of it...

"Dip" - "dip" - dip" and we were on the top of one! It was big fun to drive down BIG hills :)

Relaxing cows under a tree in spring colors

Nice and peaceful looking farm scenes - I love it!

We arrived in Alpena, a little town close to the State line to Missouri

Signs for all the shows came up on the road - Branson can not be to far away anymore!

Indeed, we crossed the States border pretty soon after Alpena

The University of Hollister, MO - we are soon in Branson!

The first visible sign of Branson - it must be a town of music and entertainment!

And this is the entrance to our so called "home" for the next weeks and months - if we really will like it :)

And this is our pretty outlook every day to the lake Taneycomo from now on - very enjoyable, right?

Hi my friends,

it's now already the 2nd day we have spent in entertaining Branson. Today also we have explored the town again and of course, I made new photos too. Stay tuned with me and come back to see them tomorrow and the next days.

Thanks for your loyal visits and the comments. I appreciate that very much.

See you tomorrow again! :)

The Angel Oak in Spring

I have visited the old "Angel Oak" again, I wanted to see her in her new "spring time dress". But there were 3 buses waiting outside the parking lot and for sure more than over 120 school kids running around and climbing up and down in the tree like little monkeys. So I had to wait until the big fun was over and they are gone - and happily, 10 minutes later the whole place was empty again, quite again and only the singing birds and my clicking camera to hear.

I made earlier already a post about the "Angel Oak",read it here: http://sues-daily-photos.blogspot.com/2008/02/angel-oak.html
